On the wedding day, Maggie handled everything seamlessly and I was able to enjoy my day as the bride. She organized my vendors and because of her my wedding decor really turned out better than I imagined. She also orchestrated the most organized cleanup imaginable! I was able to leave with my husband and my family had all of the leftover decor packed and cleaned up and were out of the venue in less than an hour thanks to Maggie’s skills and her team’s help. “WOW! Where do I begin? Maggie was a LIFESAVER for me and my husband.
We hired her later in the wedding planning process but she was on the top of her game—getting every single detail planned out and prepped perfectly! Our wedding was in Atlanta, my husband and I were living in Brooklyn and Maggie was in TN, but somehow she made it feel like we were all in the same place knocking things off of our to-do list everyday. We also had a backyard wedding that needed a TON of coordination between a ton of venders. She created a timeline for all the vendor load-in's, made sure everything ran smoothly, and problem-solved faster than anyone i had ever seen. One of our venders was dropping the ball leading up to our wedding and maggie not only picked up their slack she also took statements and helped us get our money back from that vendor. She was lovely, hardworking, brilliant, organized, sharp, optimistic, and all together incredible. I CANNOT recommend her enough!”

Organized to a t, so incredibly helpful and hilarious, she answered each and every question I had leading up to our wedding. I was so nervous planning a wedding about 2 hours away from where we actually live, but I didn’t need to worry, this lady has a passion and experience! Our whole day went off beautifully, especially thanks to all of her behind the scenes work (Maggie even took some special time the night before at our rehearsal to make sure my little flower girl was confident in throwing her petals!). We flipped our ceremony and reception space and Maggie immediately jumped into action making sure our transition was seamless, and we even had massive paintings my now husband had painted to hang for the reception!! I absolutely recommend hiring this delightful human being for a truly one of a kind experience, you will not be disappointed!”

“I planned my wedding in 5 months and hired Maggie at around the 2 month mark until the wedding.
I lived about two hours from where we got married and where she was stationed so, we never actually had a consultation in person before the wedding due to timing. We did have a phone consultation that helped tremendously, along with all of her documents to keep me on track. We finally met on the day of the rehearsal and she jumped into action. Where Maggie really SHINED was on the day of the wedding! There were so many behind the scene issues that I wasn’t aware of, that I learned later, and she handled them. My caterer was 40 minutes late to start setup; the platters wouldn’t fit on the table with the greenery; the vintage tables I rented didn’t fit in the elevator; my bartenders were sitting around and not setting up, and I’m sure more issues that I’m still unaware of! MAGGIE KICKED ASS! My photographer, DJ and venue manager were raving about her to me at the end of the night. Hiring Maggie was one of the best and smartest decisions I made.”

Especially being from out of town. So I had my daughter pick a wedding planner and it would be my treat. She picked Maggie Walker, and I called Maggie immediately and it was meant to be. She always answered any questions we had, and when the rehearsal night came, we could see how very special everything was going to be by having Maggie and her assistant Camilla right there with us. The day of the ceremony, and everything that goes with it, to the reception, dealing with the vendors, if we had a problem Maggie or Camilla were on it. All we had to do was have a fun time. Maggie Walker is one in a million. Best money ever spent.”

We were comfortable doing most of the planning but we knew that we would need someone to help with wedding day logistics.
As we approached the wedding week, it become apparent that we were going to have to utilize our rain plan. Maggie Walker Weddings was available to answer my questions, review and revise my layout and timeline, and recommend a few vendors for some last minute heaters. We had a large bridal party and she did a great job managing our large group and making sure everyone felt comfortable, including our officiant who couldn’t be there for the rehearsal.
